Brian Benjamin Madden (b. 1989, Washington, DC) is a multi-disciplinary artist and designer living in San Francisco. His artwork explores a lifelong instinct to celebrate moments and memories through sculpture, mark making, and artifact collection.

Brian is known for his irreverent drawing style, and his exploration of material and texture to create sculpture, furniture, and paintings. Bringing a relational approach to his creative practice, he often collaborates with clients, material experts, and fabricators to explore new techniques and bring imaginative concepts to life.

Brian’s studio partners with global brands, organizations, and art lovers to tell stories through art and design. His studio practice is informed by Brian’s 13 years of experience as an industrial and environmental designer leading projects to activate iconic global brands including Nike, Jordan, EA Sports, NFLPA, Target, Tesla, The North Face, Google, and Starbucks.

Brian’s work has been exhibited in group shows in New York City, San Francisco, Portland, OR, and Rochester, NY. Brian’s time-based work Six Months in Dogpatch was displayed at The de Young Open 2023, Fine Art Museums of San Francisco’s triennial juried survey of Bay Area art. Brian’s work is held in private and corporate collections across the USA, including Nike Inc, EA Sports.
